Straightegy Consulting ("we," "us," "our," or "Company") is committed to providing high-quality educational programs through our "Ready for the Real World" series. We stand behind the value and effectiveness of our Services and want you to feel confident in your purchase.
This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds may be requested and processed for purchases made through our Platform at https://www.straightegy.com. This policy applies to all program tiers including Foundations, Explorer, Navigator, and Master programs.
By purchasing any of our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Refund Policy, which forms an integral part of our Terms and Conditions.
Important Notice: This Refund Policy is designed to balance customer satisfaction with the digital nature of our educational content. Once digital content is accessed, it cannot be "returned" in the traditional sense, which is why specific eligibility criteria apply.
2. DEFINITIONS
For the purposes of this Refund Policy:
"Enrollment" means the successful completion of payment for any program tier and activation of access to the associated educational content.
"Content Consumption" means accessing, viewing, downloading, or interacting with any educational materials, including videos, quizzes, downloadable resources, or certificates.
"Business Days" means Monday through Friday, excluding Indian national holidays and weekends.
"Original Payment Method" means the payment method (credit card, debit card, UPI, net banking, or digital wallet) used for the original transaction.
"Refund Window" means the 7-day period following the date of enrollment during which refund requests may be submitted.
"Eligible Refund" means a refund request that meets all criteria specified in Section 4 of this policy.

3.1 Our Guarantee Commitment
Straightegy Consulting offers a 100% money-back guarantee for customers who are not satisfied with our program within the first 7 days of enrollment.
This guarantee reflects our confidence in the quality and value of our educational content and our commitment to customer satisfaction.
3.2 Guarantee Coverage
Our money-back guarantee covers:
Program Access Issues: If you experience persistent technical difficulties preventing program access that cannot be resolved by our support team.
Content Quality Concerns: If you find that the program content does not match the description provided on our Platform or in our marketing materials.
Expectations Mismatch: If the program does not meet your reasonable expectations based on our public representations, provided you meet eligibility criteria.
Learning Style Incompatibility: If you determine within the refund window that the program's teaching methodology does not suit your or your child's learning needs.
3.3 What the Guarantee Does NOT Cover
Our money-back guarantee does NOT apply to:
Buyer's Remorse: Change of mind after consuming significant content without legitimate quality or technical concerns.
Lack of Effort: Failure to engage with the program materials or complete assignments and activities.
Third-Party Issues: Technical problems arising from your internet connection, device compatibility, or other factors beyond our control.
External Circumstances: Personal situations, financial difficulties, or schedule changes that prevent program completion.
Competitive Research: Enrollment with the intent to copy, replicate, or compete with our educational content.
4. REFUND ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To be eligible for a refund under our money-back guarantee, ALL of the following criteria must be met:
4.1 Timing Requirement
Your refund request must be submitted within 7 calendar days of your enrollment date.
The enrollment date is the date on which your payment was successfully processed and you received access to the program content. This date is clearly indicated in your enrollment confirmation email and transaction receipt.
Example: If you enrolled on October 1st, 2025, your refund request must be submitted no later than October 8th, 2025, by 11:59 PM IST.
Requests submitted after the 7-day window will not be eligible for refund, regardless of other circumstances.
4.2 Content Consumption Limit
You must have consumed less than 20% of the total course content at the time of your refund request.
Content consumption is measured by the Progress Bar showing the % completion. The % completion is fully-automated and takes in to account the following:
• Number of video lessons viewed (partially or fully)
• Number of quizzes attempted or completed
• Number of downloadable resources accessed or downloaded
• Progress through program modules
System Tracking:
Our platform automatically tracks your content consumption in real-time. When you submit a refund request, our system shows a consumption report showing:
• Total content units available in your program
• Content units you have accessed
• Percentage of consumption
This tracking is automated and objective, leaving no room for dispute about consumption levels.
Important: If you have accessed 20% or more of the content, your refund request will be denied, even if submitted within the 7-day window.
4.3 No Certificate Issued
A refund cannot be processed if a certificate of completion has been issued for the program.
Once you complete the program and receive your certificate, it indicates:
• You have consumed 100% of the content
• You have benefited from the full educational value
• The program has served its intended purpose
If you have received a certificate, you are no longer eligible for a refund, regardless of when you request it.
Partial Completion: Even if you have completed the program within the 7-day window, receipt of a certificate makes you ineligible for a refund.
4.4 Proper Request Submission
Your refund request must be submitted through the proper channel with all required information (Please use the template given in Step 3 under Sub-section 5.1).
Proper submission means:
Email Submission: From your registered email ID, send a request to contact@straightegy.com with subject line "Refund Request - [Your Order Number]"
Required Information:
• Full name as registered on your account
• Email address associated with your enrollment
• Order reference number or transaction ID
• Date of enrollment
• Program name
• Detailed reason for refund request (minimum 50 words explaining dissatisfaction)
• Confirmation that you have consumed less than 20% of content
Incomplete Requests: Requests missing required information may be delayed or denied. We will attempt to contact you once for missing information, but if we do not receive a complete submission within 48 hours, your request may be closed without refund.
4.5 Original Purchaser Requirement
Refunds are only processed to the original purchaser who made the payment.
The refund recipient must be:
• The person whose name appears on the original payment transaction
• The account holder who enrolled in the program
• The individual who can verify account ownership through our security process
No Third-Party Refunds: We cannot process refunds to third parties, even with authorization. Refunds are always returned to the original payment method used for purchase.
4.6 Single Enrollment Policy
Each customer is entitled to ONE refund per program tier.
If you:
• Previously enrolled and received a refund for a program
• Enroll again in the same program
• Request another refund
Your second refund request will be denied. This policy prevents abuse of our money-back guarantee.
Cross-Tier Enrollments: If you enroll in multiple program tiers (e.g., Foundations and Explorer), each tier is treated independently for refund purposes. However, a pattern of requesting refunds across multiple tiers may result in denial of future refund requests and account suspension.
5. REFUND REQUEST PROCESS
5.1 Step-by-Step Refund Request Procedure
Step 1: Verify Eligibility
Before submitting your refund request, verify that you meet ALL eligibility criteria:
• Within 7 days of enrollment date
• Consumed less than 20% of content
• No certificate issued
• Original purchaser making request
• First refund request for this program tier
You can check your content consumption percentage by logging into your account dashboard, where a progress tracker displays your current completion status.
Step 2: Prepare Required Information
Gather the following information:
• Your account login email address
• Order reference number (found in enrollment confirmation email)
• Transaction ID or payment reference number
• Date of enrollment
• Payment method used
• Detailed explanation of dissatisfaction (minimum 50 words)

- I am the original purchaser
- I have consumed less than 20% of the program content and it has been less than 7 days since I enrolled in the Program
- I have not received a certificate for this program
- I understand this is my only refund request
Step 4: Await Acknowledgment
You will receive an automated acknowledgment email within 24 hours confirming receipt of your refund request. This email will include:
• Your refund request reference number
• Expected timeline for review
• Next steps in the process
Step 5: Eligibility Verification
Our refund team will verify your eligibility within 2 business days by:
• Checking your enrollment date against current date
• Running automated content consumption report from our system
• Verifying no certificate has been issued
• Confirming your identity as original purchaser
• Reviewing your refund history
Step 6: Decision Notification
You will receive a decision email within 2 business days of submission containing:
• Approval or denial of your refund request
• Detailed explanation for the decision
• If approved: refund amount, method, and expected timeline
• If denied: specific reason(s) for denial and appeal options
Step 7: Refund Processing (If Approved)
If your refund is approved:
• Refund is initiated within 1 business day of approval
• Amount refunded to your original payment method

• Your account access is terminated immediately
Step 8: Refund Receipt
The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account depends on your payment method and bank, but here’s a typical timeline:
• Credit/Debit Cards: 5-7 business days
• UPI: 3-5 business days
• Net Banking: 5-7 business days
• Digital Wallets: 3-5 business days
Straightegy Consulting is not responsible for delays caused by banks, payment processors, or card networks.

5.3 What Happens After Refund Approval
Once your refund is approved and processed:
Immediate Account Termination: Your access to the program content is immediately revoked. You will no longer be able to log in or access any materials.
Certificate Invalidation: If you downloaded or saved any certificate prior to refund request, it is rendered invalid. You agree not to use or display the certificate after receiving a refund.
Content Removal: You must delete any downloaded materials from your devices. Continued use of downloaded content after refund constitutes intellectual property violation.
Communication Cessation: You will be removed from all program-related communication lists, including progress updates and educational newsletters.
Re-enrollment Terms: If you wish to re-enroll in the same program in the future, you will need to pay full price and will NOT be eligible for another refund for that program tier.
6. NON-REFUNDABLE CIRCUMSTANCES
The following situations are explicitly NON-REFUNDABLE, even if you meet other eligibility criteria:
6.1 Post-Window Requests
Any refund request submitted more than 7 days after enrollment, regardless of reason, will be automatically denied. This includes:
Grace Period: There is NO grace period beyond the 7-day window, even for a few hours or one day.
Special Circumstances: While we sympathize with personal emergencies, illness, travel, or other extenuating circumstances, the 7-day window is firm and non-negotiable.
System Issues: If you experienced technical issues preventing you from accessing the content during the 7-day window, you must report them within the window, not after.
Recommendation: We strongly encourage customers to review the program immediately upon enrollment to ensure satisfaction and allow time for refund requests if needed.
6.2 Excessive Content Consumption
If you have consumed 20% or more of the program content, you are not eligible for a refund. This is measured objectively by our system and includes:
Partial Viewing Counts: Even partially watching a video (e.g., watching 30 seconds) counts as consumption of that content unit.
Downloaded Materials: Downloading a resource counts as consumption, even if you claim not to have read or used it.
Quiz Attempts: Starting a quiz counts as consumption, even if you did not complete it.
Aggregate Consumption: All forms of content interaction are aggregated to calculate your total consumption percentage.
No Manual Override: The 20% threshold is system-enforced and cannot be manually overridden by our staff, even if you provide explanations for why you accessed content without "really consuming" it.
6.3 Promotional and Discounted Purchases
Special terms apply to promotional or discounted purchases:
Referral Code Purchases: If you enrolled using a Referral Partner's code and received a discount:
• You are eligible for refund if you meet all standard criteria
• However, the refunded amount is the discounted price you paid, not the full price
• The Referral Partner's commission will be clawed back by us; you are not responsible for this
Promotional Pricing: If you enrolled during a promotional period (e.g., limited-time 20% off):
• You are eligible for refund if you meet all standard criteria
• Refunded amount is the promotional price you paid, not the regular full price
• The promotional discount cannot be "banked" for future re-enrollment
Gift Purchases: If someone else purchased the program as a gift for you:
• Refund is processed to the original purchaser's payment method
• You cannot receive the refund directly
• The original purchaser must submit the refund request
Bundled Purchases: If you purchased multiple program tiers as a bundle:
• Refund eligibility assessed individually for each tier
• If one tier qualifies for refund but another doesn't, only the eligible tier is refunded
• Bundled discount applies proportionally to each tier
6.4 Technical Issues Beyond Our Control
We are not responsible for issuing refunds for technical issues caused by:
Your Internet Connection: Slow, unstable, or intermittent internet connections preventing smooth content access.
Device Compatibility: Using devices or browsers that do not meet our minimum technical requirements (specified on our website).
Third-Party Software: Conflicts with antivirus software, VPNs, firewalls, or other software on your device.
Operating System Issues: Problems arising from outdated or incompatible operating systems.
User Error: Inability to access content due to forgetting passwords, using incorrect login credentials, or not understanding how to navigate the platform.
Important Exception: If our technical team confirms that the issue is on our side (server problems, platform bugs, content errors), we will work with you to resolve it and may extend the refund window if the issue prevented you from properly evaluating the program.
6.5 Change of Mind After Significant Use
If you have consumed close to (but less than) 20% of the content and request a refund due solely to "change of mind" without specific dissatisfaction reasons:
Discretionary Denial: We reserve the right to deny refunds where it appears you have substantially benefited from the content but are requesting a refund opportunistically.
Examples of Discretionary Denial:
• You consumed 18-19% of content (just under the 20% threshold) and cite only "lost interest" as the reason
• You downloaded most available resources and then request refund
Review Process: Such requests are manually reviewed by our refund team and may be denied if it appears you are attempting to gain free educational content.
6.6 Violation of Terms and Conditions
If your account has been suspended or terminated due to violation of our Terms and Conditions, you forfeit all rights to refunds, including:
Content Piracy: Sharing, distributing, or uploading our content to third-party sites.
Account Sharing: Allowing unauthorized users to access your account.
Fraudulent Activity: Using stolen payment methods, disputing valid charges (chargeback abuse), or providing false information.
Intellectual Property Violations: Reproducing, copying, or creating derivative works from our content without permission.
Abusive Behavior: Harassing staff, sending threatening communications, or engaging in abusive conduct.
In such cases, not only is your refund request denied, but we may also pursue legal action for damages.
6.7 Regulatory or Legal Refund Denials
We reserve the right to deny refunds where granting them would:
Violate Anti-Money Laundering Laws: If we suspect the transaction is part of money laundering or other financial crimes.
Enable Fraud: If we have reason to believe the refund request is fraudulent or part of a fraudulent scheme.
Circumvent Regulations: If the refund would help the user circumvent applicable laws or regulations.
In such cases, we may be required to report the transaction to appropriate authorities.
7. PARTIAL REFUNDS AND EXCEPTIONS
7.1 No Partial Refunds
Straightegy Consulting does not offer partial refunds. The refund is either:
• 100% of the amount paid (if fully approved), or
• 0% (if denied)
No Pro-Rated Refunds: We do not offer pro-rated refunds based on the amount of content consumed, time elapsed, or proportion of program completed.
Reasoning: Our programs are designed as complete educational experiences. The value is in the structured, progressive curriculum, not in individual lessons. Partial completion does not reduce the value delivered.
7.2 Exception: Technical Failures
In rare cases of prolonged technical failures on our end that prevent access to significant portions of the program:
Extended Access: We may extend your access period to compensate for downtime.
Partial Credit: We may offer account credit toward future program purchases.
Full Refund: In extreme cases of service failure, we may process a full refund even outside the normal eligibility window.
These exceptions are granted at our sole discretion and are not automatic. You must contact our support team with documentation of the technical issues experienced.
8. REFUND PROCESSING DETAILS
8.1 Refund Amount
The refund amount is the exact amount you paid at the time of purchase, minus any non-refundable payment processing fees where applicable.
Full Amount Refunded: In most cases, you receive 100% of the amount paid.
Payment Gateway Fees: In rare cases where payment gateway fees are non-refundable (as determined by Razorpay terms), we will inform you of any deduction before processing the refund. Typically, this is less than 2% of the transaction amount.
Most transactions do not have non-refundable fees; this applies only in specific payment method scenarios.
8.2 Refund Method
Refunds are processed exclusively to the original payment method:
Credit/Debit Card: Refund credited to the same card used for purchase.
UPI: Refund sent to the same UPI ID used for purchase.
Net Banking: Refund credited to the same bank account used for purchase.
Digital Wallet: Refund credited to the same wallet (Paytm, PhonePe, etc.) used for purchase.
No Alternative Methods: We cannot process refunds via:
• Bank transfer to a different account
• Cash payment
• Credit toward different program
• Payment to third parties
• Cryptocurrency or alternative payment methods
8.3 Refund Currency
All refunds are processed in Indian Rupees (INR), the currency of the original transaction.
If you paid using an international payment method, the refund will be processed in INR and converted by your bank/card network at their prevailing exchange rate. Any currency conversion fees are your responsibility.
8.4 Failed Refund Processing
If the refund cannot be processed to your original payment method due to:
• Expired credit/debit card
• Closed bank account
• Deactivated UPI ID
• Suspended digital wallet
We will contact you at your registered email address to coordinate an alternative refund method. You must respond within 30 days with valid alternative account information, or the refund will be forfeited.
9. DISPUTES AND APPEALS
9.1 Refund Request Denial Appeals
If your refund request is denied and you believe the denial was made in error, you may appeal:
Appeal Process:
Step 1: Reply to the refund denial email within 7 days with:
• Detailed explanation of why you believe the denial is incorrect
• Any supporting documentation (screenshots of technical issues, consumption report disputes, etc.)
• Specific policy provisions you believe support your case
Step 2: Your appeal is reviewed by a senior member of our customer service team who was not involved in the initial decision.
Step 3: You receive a final decision within 5 business days.
Final Decision: The appeal decision is final and binding. No further appeals are accepted.
9.2 Chargeback and Payment Disputes
Chargeback Consequences:
Initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider without first attempting to resolve the issue through our refund process:
Immediate Account Suspension: Your account will be immediately suspended pending chargeback resolution.
Chargeback Fees: If the chargeback is found in our favor, you may be liable for chargeback processing fees (typically ₹1,000-2,000).
Future Purchase Ban: If you initiate an unjustified chargeback, you may be permanently banned from making future purchases.
Legal Action: We reserve the right to pursue legal action for fraudulent chargebacks.
Proper Process: Before initiating a chargeback, you must:
1. Submit a refund request through proper channels
2. Allow us reasonable time to process (up to 10 business days)
3. Exhaust the appeal process if denied
4. Only then, if you believe we have acted improperly, pursue a chargeback
9.3 Consumer Forum Complaints
You retain all rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, to file complaints with consumer forums if you believe your refund request was unfairly denied.
We will cooperate fully with any consumer forum proceedings and abide by their decisions.
10. SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES AND DISCRETIONARY REFUNDS
10.1 Medical or Family Emergencies
We understand that unexpected life events occur. If you experience a medical emergency, family crisis, or other extraordinary circumstance that prevents you from using the program or submitting a refund request within the window:
Compassionate Review: Contact us at grievance@straightegy.com with subject "Exceptional Refund Request."
Documentation Required: Provide supporting documentation (medical records, death certificates, legal documents, etc.).
Discretionary Approval: We will review such requests on a case-by-case basis. Approval is not guaranteed but may be granted at our discretion.
Time Limits: Such requests should be submitted within 60 days of the event that prevented normal refund request submission.
10.2 Account Compromise
If your account was compromised and a purchase was made without your authorization:
Immediate Action: Contact us immediately at contact@straightegy.com with subject "Unauthorized Purchase."
Investigation: We will investigate the claim and may request:
• Police report if you've filed one
• Evidence of account compromise
• Timeline of events
• Proof of ownership of account and payment method
Resolution: If we confirm unauthorized access:
• Full refund processed immediately
• Account secured with new credentials
• Investigation into security breach conducted
False Claims: If we determine the claim is false, the account may be suspended and legal action pursued.
11. REFUND ABUSE PREVENTION
11.1 Patterns of Abuse
We monitor for patterns that suggest refund policy abuse, including:
Serial Refunding: Repeatedly enrolling in programs, consuming content, and requesting refunds across multiple program tiers.
Content Harvesting: Downloading all resources, taking screenshots, or recording videos, then requesting refunds.
Account Sharing: Sharing account access with multiple users during the 7-day window, then requesting a refund.
Competitive Research: Enrolling with intent to study our methods for competitive purposes, then requesting refunds.
11.2 Consequences for Abuse
If we determine refund policy abuse:
Refund Denial: Current and all future refund requests permanently denied.
Account Termination: Permanent ban from our Platform and all Services.
Legal Action: We may pursue legal remedies for:
• Intellectual property theft
• Breach of contract
• Fraudulent activity
• Unjust enrichment
Blacklist: Email, phone number, and payment methods added to our blacklist, preventing future purchases.
11.3 Good Faith Presumption
We presume all refund requests are made in good faith. The abuse prevention measures above apply only in clear cases of deliberate policy abuse, not to legitimate customer dissatisfaction.
12. REFUND POLICY MODIFICATIONS
12.1 Right to Modify
Straightegy Consulting reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Modifications may include:
• Changes to refund window (currently 7 days)
• Changes to content consumption threshold (currently 20%)
• Changes to refund processing procedures
• Addition or removal of non-refundable circumstances
12.2 Notification of Changes
Any changes to this Refund Policy will be updated on our website, as and when necessary. We are under no obligation to notify you separately. You are encouraged to check for updates from time to time.
12.3 Applicability of Changes
All enrollments are governed by the latest version of the policy.
